I got that line at least 30 times today, because I FINALLY GOT THE COURAGE TO GO TO THE HOMELESS SHELTER.

And it wasn't what I thought it'd be, it was actually better.

And I felt safe the whole time, because I knew the others were close.

After we got into the area, we split into 2 groups. My group went to the All Mens Shelter, and yeah, it was full of homeless men.

We helped in organizing the food storage shacks. I was sent out to the sidewalk to sweep grass, weeds and stuff off, but Daniel sent Andrew over to take my place, so I could be in view and not get kidnapped or something happen.

After that, we went into the kitchen and put hairnets on and gloves on, and went out and served breakfest! I served the ice and water with Katey, Hannah, and Andrew when he came over to take his sisters (Hannah) place so she could get something to eat.

I didn't get any food. I've only had one meal today and that was when I got home.

After that, we headed over to where Group 1 was.

We met in the kitchen there and then went over to a warehouse and helped make a pathway.

After that, we split into groups again. My group went back to the kitchen and made COOKIES! Funny how there was only 3 of us kids, there was me, Kara and Steven (and of course, baking cookies is no fun without getting some on you, they had cookie doe on they're shirts when they were done....I got a finger of cookie dough and put it on Steven's face

After that, we went to where the other group was, in the childs daycare....that place was so sweet.

I mostly watched the kids run around and play, I did have to little boys (ages 3 or 4) and take my hand and pull me around the room with them, we just ran.

Kyle showed me a magic trick he learned from his dad, it was pretty cool.

After the Daycare, we came home....which it was 11:00 then.

Not bad for waking up at 4 o'clock IN THE MORNING.

And now, I must go prepare to go to the church again and play Ultimate Frisbee with Steven and the others. (I know Steven will be there, he told me.)

Even though I've been ran over in the past games I've played before, tonight, I just don't care. TRAMPLE ME! >8D
